Emergency Meals Program
Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish has begun an “Emergency Meals” Program. Many of you have cooked and delivered a meal to a friend who is ill, had a death in their family, or is experiencing some type of crisis that calls for assistance. This “Emergency Meals” program works in a similar way. Volunteers sign up to cook and deliver a meal on an occasional basis (maybe once a month) to a parish member or family that needs assistance. This program has been very successful in the past, being a valuable way to show fellow parishioners that they are in our thoughts.
Please consider signing up for the new program by clicking on the link above, or by contacting:
Nancy Ryan at email@example.com or
Joan Thayer at (781) 631-2084 or firstname.lastname@example.org
We are most grateful for all who have signed up to help in this valuable program. We continually welcome new volunteers. Call or email Nancy or Joan if you would like more information about this program.
We ask that parishioners be mindful of any situation where a family or individual would benefit from meal assistance.
Examples might include:
† A parent hospitalized or just home from the hospital
† An individual going through treatment for cancer
† A single parent facing a crisis with no support
Please be sensitive to the needs of your fellow parishioners or neighbors and call or e-mail one of us if you feel Emergency Meals would be helpful. Thank you so much!
